Always on Top Calculator App Reviews
After upgrading to Yosemite, I lost my “Always on Top” app that allowed me to keep the text editor, calculator, and any other tool in the forefront while I worked on spreadsheets, etc, (regardless of what other programs I needed to open). Since the calculator was used most often in this fashion, I was really happy to find this app. It works perfectly - just as descibed.
I love this as it is exactly what I was looking for but it would be nice if we could make the calculator bigger with taller buttons as it is a bit difficult to see with the buttons this small and short. Being able to change the color of the calculator would be a nice bonus. Nice work.
App works great on 10.10.2 and makes quick calcs extremely easy. Simple interface is excellent but I would add a delete button to get rid of one number at a time for mouse clickers. Would like to see other types of calculators (financial, scientific, …etc) from Tod LLC since this one is so handy. Nice work!
Great App
This is an excellent app.
It’s a basic calculator with memory function and copy/paste buttons, stable on Yosemite, and it IS always in front, which is very helpful. This calculator delivers exactly as advertised and does what I need. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is that I agree with another reviewer who wanted to be able to make it bigger on the desktop. It is a little small for my taste, but not a deal breaker. Solid value.
You don’t realize how irritating it is to have a calculator that disappears behind the program you’re working in until you experience the Always on Top Calculator. I consider it to be one of the basic tools for any Mac I use. I’ve purchased several different calculator apps, but none has come close to the usefulness of the Always on Top Calculator. For .99 there’s no reason for you not to give it a try!

Great calculator. Its there when you need it and not when you don’t. Works like a charm
If they gave you the option to make the calulator always have a menu bar display icon it would be GREAT!! ( Just click the menu bar icon and your calculator would pop up even if the app was closed ) also im not happy with the size of it. Wish I could make the calulator larger
So Very Handy
One can always use a calculator on the computer that simultaneously stays out of the way, yet is always accessible. Perfect.
This is exactly the calculator I thought I was looking for because I was so insanely tired of having to memorize the number the calculator showed because it disappeared to the back once I clicked on the webpage to enter it into my homework. It does perform this task of always staying in the front which is very nice and I guess technically it does exactly what it says it does, but I bought it with the expectation that pretty much every calculator should be a scientific one or at least perform functions such as square roots, but this literally only does +/-/division, etc., so I was definitely disappointed.
I purchased the calculator so I can use it with my online budgeting program (using Safari) and as soon as I open the calculator, I lose safari and it opens up on the desktop. My free calculator does that. I thought perhaps I’m not doing something correctly so I clicked on the link for support and that took me to a page advertising a different app altogether. Disappointed.
